At iuju, we are committed to offering sustainable pieces, from our materials and craft-production style, to the packaging in which they arrive to you. 

Our pieces are made from 100% organic cotton and printed with eco-friendly inks, making them biodegradable and non-toxic, ideal for sensitive baby skin. Additionally, in our quest to offer plastic-free products, we use buttons made from Corozo, a natural product that comes from the seed of a palm tree. It is OEKO-TEX certified and does not contain any toxic ingredients. Plus: their production is sustainable too! No trees are ever cut down to extract the seeds 🌴🌰 🙌

 

Creating gender-neutral clothes and accessories is not only a way to erase gender  labels, but also to be more inclusive by acknowledging that differences don’t exist in the eyes of our little ones, who are just babies and toddlers. The positive outcome of this decision is that it allows for sharing and inheriting without limitations, giving the products a longer life.

 

Trying to create a well-made and environmentally friendly product takes time, but why rush? We are a Slow-fashion brand because we believe it's better to go at our own pace instead of releasing collections one after another, which only promotes overconsumption. 

Kids grow fast and need a lot of clothes, that's true. But how many times, as parents, do we realize that our little ones have grown up without ever wearing some of the clothes we bought for them? So, we believe the key is to buy less and buy better ;) embracing a rhythm that benefits our mind and also our planet.
